Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data provides businesses with a cloud-based solution to create an unified online shopping experience for their customers. This document describes how to connect IBM watsonx Orchestrate to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data and use its skills on watsonx Orchestrate.

Connecting to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data

Connect to the app according to the credential type that you or your team want to use.

If you want to connect the app to the Orchestrate Agent skill set, skill sets from AI assistants, or the Team skill set with Team credentials, refer to Managing app connections.

If you want to connect to the app to the Personal skill set or the Team skill set with Member credentials, refer to Connecting to apps.

Configuring the connection on watsonx Orchestrate SaaS

To connect watsonx Orchestrate to Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Connect app.
  2. Specify your Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data base URL in the Base URL field.
  3. Select the API version from the drop-down.
    • API version: The API version of your Salesforce Commerce Cloud instance. The watsonx Orchestrate supports versions 18.3, 21.3 and 23.2.
  4. Specify your Client ID and Client secret.
    • Client ID: The unique identifier to login to your Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data account.
    • Client secret: The client secret of your Salesforce Commerce Cloud Digital Data application.
  5. Click Connect app.

When the connection is successful, you are redirected to watsonx Orchestrate.

Note: The icon A green check icon appears to show that the app is connected. indicates that the connection was successfully established.
