HubSpot CRM

HubSpot CRM is a CRM platform which allows you to keep track of leads and customers at different stages in their journey. This document describes how to connect IBM watsonx Orchestrate to HubSpot CRM and use its skills on watsonx Orchestrate.

Connecting to HubSpot CRM

Connect to the app according to the credential type that you or your team want to use.

If you want to connect the app to the Orchestrate Agent skill set, skill sets from AI assistants, or the Team skill set with Team credentials, refer to Managing app connections.

If you want to connect to the app to the Personal skill set or the Team skill set with Member credentials, refer to Connecting to apps.

Configuring the connection on watsonx Orchestrate SaaS

To connect watsonx Orchestrate to HubSpot CRM, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Connect app.
  2. Specify your HubSpot CRM API server URL in the API URL field. By default, the API URL is set to https://api.hubapi.com.
  3. Click Connect app.
  4. Click Sign in to your HubSpot account.
  5. Sign in by using any of the following methods:
    • Sign in with your HubSpot account
    • Sign in with Google
    • Sign in with Microsoft
    • Log in with SSO

When the connection is successful, you are redirected to watsonx Orchestrate.

Note: The icon A green check icon appears to show that the app is connected. indicates that the connection was successfully established.

Configuring the connection on watsonx Orchestrate on-premises

To connect watsonx Orchestrate to HubSpot CRM, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Connect app.
  2. You are prompted to enter the following connection details:
    • Application client ID: It is the unique identifier of your HubSpot client application. Get your application client ID from your HubSpot Apps dashboard in your developer account.
    • Application client secret: It is the application client secret for the unique application client ID. Get the application client secret from HubSpot apps dashboard in your developer account.
    • Access token: Specify the access token generated from the application client ID and client secret.
    • Refresh token: Specify the refresh token generated from the application client ID and client secret.
    • API URL (optional): Specify the HubSpot CRM API server URL if you want to override the default URL. By default, the URL is set to "https://api.hubapi.com".
  3. Click Connect app.
