Coupa

Coupa is a cloud based Business Spend Management platform that allows you to manage and analyze business spend across Procurement, Supply Chain & Finance. This document describes how to connect IBM watsonx Orchestrate to Coupa and use its skills on watsonx Orchestrate.

Connecting to Coupa

Connect to the app according to the credential type that you or your team want to use.

If you want to connect the app to the Orchestrate Agent skill set, skill sets from AI assistants, or the Team skill set with Team credentials, refer to Managing app connections.

If you want to connect to the app to the Personal skill set or the Team skill set with Member credentials, refer to Connecting to apps.

Configuring the connection

To connect watsonx Orchestrate to Coupa, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Connect app.
  2. You are prompted to enter the following connection details:
    • Specify the API URL, it is the domain-specific confluence service URL that you use to log in to the portal. If your domain is abc, the service URL is https://abc.atlassian.net
    • Specify the Client ID and Client secret you can get the details from your Coupa account user interface.
  3. Click Connect app.
Note: The icon A green check icon appears to show that the app is connected. indicates that the connection was successfully established.

Getting the API URL

To get the API URL for Coupa

  1. Sign in to your Coupa account.
  2. Navigate to Integration Toolkit > Integration Documentation. Select REST API Explorer. Specify the necessary details. For more information about Coupa API URL, see API Explorer in the Coupa Success Portal.
  3. To create an API Key, navigate to Setup > Integrations > API Keys, then click Create. Provide the necessary details. When you are done, be sure to copy the API key.
