Generating an API key for IBM Cloud

Get the Identity and Access Management (IAM) API key to authenticate you to the watsonx Orchestrate API for the IBM Cloud offering.

To get the IAM API key follow the procedure:

  1. Log in to your IBM Cloud account.

  2. Click Manage > Access (IAM).

  3. Click API keys.

  4. Click Create.

  5. Enter a name for the API key.

  6. Click Create.

  7. Click Copy and save your key somewhere safe.
