Connecting to IBM Targetprocess

IBM Targetprocess is a flexible enterprise tool for managing agile projects, portfolios, and workflows. Integrating IBM Targetprocess with IBM watsonx Orchestrate enables automation of work item tracking, status updates, and cross-platform synchronization.

To enable this integration, you must establish a secure connection that enables both platforms to communicate. See Managing connections for more details.

By default, Single sign-on (SSO) is disabled for your app. To enable it, refer to Configuring single sign-on for applications.

Connecting using Bearer Token

  1. From the main menu, select Manage > Connections.
  2. Search for IBM Targetprocess.
  3. Locate the connection ID with the following format: ibm_targetprocess_bearer_ibm_184bdbd3
  4. Click Edit next to the matched connection ID.
  5. Choose the environment where the connection is used:
    • Draft: for development or testing
    • Live: for production use
  6. Select Bearer Token as the authentication type.
  7. Choose the appropriate credential type.
  8. Click Save to complete the setup.

The icon A green check icon appears indicates that the connection was successfully established.
