Connecting to SAP Ariba
SAP Ariba is a leading e-commerce platform for businesses. It provides a range of solutions for procurement, invoicing, and supply chain management. Integrating SAP Ariba with IBM watsonx Orchestrate enables companies to connect with suppliers, manage spend, and streamline processes.
To integrate SAP Ariba with watsonx Orchestrate, you must establish a secure connection that allows both systems to communicate. For more information on managing connections, refer to Managing connections.
The Single sign-on (SSO) toggle is enabled only for supported OAuth 2.0 authentication types and applications. If the application does not support an SSO-enabled authentication type, the toggle remains disabled. For supported configurations, see Configuring single sign-on for applications.
Steps to connect
Use the following steps to connect SAP Ariba to watsonx Orchestrate:

From the main menu, go to Manage > Security.
Important:In the on-premises environment, use the Manage > Connections navigation path to access connections.

Click the Connections tab and search for the corresponding app name or the SAP Ariba Connection ID.

Click edit next to the matching connection ID.

Select the authentication method: Key Value Pair.

Enter the SAP Ariba fields described in the corresponding authentication details section.

Complete the Draft and Live setup steps.

Save and test the connection to confirm successful configuration.

SAP Ariba supports the following authentication type in watsonx Orchestrate:
