  5. Link one or more accounts to the subscription, and then click Next.
  6. Provide these fields:
    • Select a Region.
    • Type a Service Name for the instance. This service name is the name of the first (dev) environment that is created for you.
    • Choose whether to include sample data. The sample data is intended for nonproduction environments.
    • Select the base currency to use in the Governance console.
  7. Click Submit and provision. The provisioning process takes approximately 90-120 minutes. You receive an email when the instance is ready.
  8. In the welcome email, click Access instance to view your instance. Or, on the subscription page for watsonx.governance, click View instances, and then click the Instance URL. The console page for the instance is displayed. An instance is ready to use when the status is Running. You can use the console page to view information about the instance, such as usage statistics and the URL for Governance console.
  9. Click Launch watsonx.governance. The Governance console opens and displays your dashboard.
