XML Technologies

Watson™ Explorer Engine and Watson Explorer Engine applications are based on XML and all configuration files, such as source connectors, user profiles, and options, are stored in XML format. Watson Explorer Engine generates XML output which can be completely customized using the integrated XSL transformation engine. XSL is also used to create and test meta-search connectors, and allow programmatic customization of the software directly through the web interface without recompilation.
