MDM SE Configuration Considerations

Before using the MDM SE connector, note the following configuration considerations:

• When using the connector in continuous update mode, members that are dropped are not detected. However, member deletes are detected.
• Relationship attributes are not crawled by the MDM SE connector.
• Entity relationships, as provided by MDM SE relationship table seed, do not have security.
• The segment-types are added to contents as identifiers which allow a custom converter to easily group them and link them together. For example: First and last name both belong to the "MemNameWs" segment-type. Different combination logic can be applied based on these type identifiers.
