Basic SharePoint Connector Configuration
After displaying the Crawling -> Configuration panel for the SharePoint seed in the Watson™ Explorer Engine administration tool, you can configure the following options for connecting to your SharePoint installation:
- Sharepoint Version (optional) - The version of Sharepoint to crawl.
- Protocol (optional) - What protocol to use when contacting the Sharepoint server.
- Use SID as ACL (optional) - When enabled, Windows SIDs will be used as the ACLs.
- Add Site Collection Administrators as ACL (optional) - When enabled, Site Collection Administrators will be given access to all the content in the site collection.
- Crawl profile information of personal sites (optional) - When enabled, profile information (My Profile) of personal sites will be crawled.
- Crawl all versions (optional) - When enabled, all versions of a document will be crawled. Otherwise, just the latest version of the document will be crawled.
- Authentication Type (optional) - What authentication mechanism to use when contacting the Sharepoint server.
- Kerberos Configuration (optional) - The name and location of the Kerberos configuration file e.g. C:\exampleKerb\krb5.ini or /usr/local/examplekerb/krb5.conf
- JAAS Login Configuration (optional) - The name and location of the JAAS Login configuration file e.g. C:\exampleKerb\login.conf or /usr/local/examplekerb/login.conf
