Adding the MDM SE Entity Collection Seed

This section describes the procedures, concepts, and tasks related to adding the MDM SE connector seed to Watson™ Explorer Engine.

About this task

In order to use the MDM SE connector with a search collection, you must add that seed to that search collection. To do so:

Procedure

  1. In the Configuration tab of your Watson Explorer Engine search collection, click Add a new seed.
  2. A pop-up window displays. Select IBM MDM Standard Edition Connector from the scrollable list of available connectors, and click add. The Crawling Configuration panel for the MDM SE connector displays.
