Alert Service Status

You can view the status of the alert service and individual alerts by going to the Alerts page in the Services area of the Watson™ Explorer Engine administration tool's Management section. From this page you can see whether the alert service is currently running and which alerts are currently searching for new results.

On the Alerts' status page you will see a box which indicates the current state of the alert service. If the alert service is not running the box will be grey and display a message indicating that the service is currently inactive. If the alert service is running the box will be green and indicate that the service is running.

This page will also list all alerts that exist. Each alert is referenced by its alert id and includes the name of the user who owns the alert, the last time the alert checked for new results and if there were any errors encountered the last time the alert ran. Alerts that are searching for new results will have a green background and the last run field will indicate the alert is currently searching for new results.
