To enable Content Analytics Studio to communicate with your Watson Explorer Content Analytics server, configure a Watson Explorer Content Analytics server connection file.
Procedure
To configure a connection to your Watson Explorer Content Analytics
server:

In the Studio Explorer view, right-click the
Configuration/Servers directory in your project and click .
Specify a file name and click Finish to create the server
connection file.
The new ICACONFIG file is listed in the
Studio Explorer view and is opened in the editor
view.

Configure the connection:

In the Server section, specify the host name of the
Watson Explorer Content Analytics server and a master
administrator ID and password.
Also, verify that the search and administration port numbers are correct. If
you use WebSphere® Application
Server, you must update the port
values. The default port numbers in the connection file are applicable only if
you use the embedded web application server.

Click Update to view a list of the collections that
are defined on the server.
Tip: If you later add or delete a collection, refresh the
collection list by clicking Update again.
What to do next
If the connection to the Watson Explorer Content Analytics server fails, try
connecting directly to the Watson Explorer Content Analytics server
administration console. If the administration console
is not available, contact the Watson Explorer Content Analytics server
administrator.
