What are the hub language settings used for?
Acoustic Content displays in the language that is set in the user's browser. When the browser setting for the language isn’t recognized or supported by your hub, it displays in the default hub language that you set for your content hub.
Default language for search and tagging
In addition to browser display language, the default language determines what language is used Watson™ tagging and usage rights indexes for search.
Changing the default language affects searching in the hub. It's important to set the default language to your preferred language before you begin developing your content model, uploading assets, or creating content items.
Content language settings
Composers can associate a language with the content they compose to make it easier to find content that is composed for a specific language. You set which languages a composer can select from using the Available content languages setting.
The Default content language determines which language is associated by default when content is first composed. These settings are used only as search filters and don't restrict what text can be entered into content fields.
