Inquiries data model

The Inquiries data model shows how the data sets in the Inquiries folder relate to each other. The data model determines the report behavior you can expect to see when you use the data sets to create reports.

In the diagram, you see the Inquiries data set. This data set represents an inquiry sent to a provider to solicit a service for a client.

Remember: Inquiries is the primary data set. You must use data items from this data set when you create inquiries reports. The report displays a single row for each join.

  • A client has zero or more inquiries.
  • An inquiry is associated with one client.
  • If a client has one or more associated inquiries, a single row displays for each inquiry.
  • If a client has no associated inquiries, the Inquiries data items display empty cells.
Inquiries ←→ Individual Identification
  • An inquiry is associated with zero or more individual identifications.
  • An individual identification is associated with one or more inquiries.
  • If an inquiry is associated with multiple individual identifications, a single row displays for each individual identification.
  • If an inquiry has no associated individual identifications, the Individual Identification data items display empty cells.

  • An inquiry has zero or more inquiry comments.
  • An inquiry comment is associated with one inquiry.
  • If an inquiry is associated with one or more inquiry comments, a single row displays for each inquiry comment.
  • If an inquiry has no associated inquiry comments, the Inquiry Comments data items display empty cells.

  • An inquiry is associated with zero or more individual tags.
  • An individual tag is associated with one or more inquiries.
  • If an inquiry is associated with multiple individual tags, a single row displays for each individual tag.
  • If an inquiry has no associated tags, the Individual Tags data items display empty cells.
