Removing users from data access groups

You can remove users from a data access group if you no longer want them to access the protected health information of clients in the group.

About this task

Note: When you remove users, your changes might take a few minutes to complete and prevent the users from accessing the clients.
Note: If you remove a user from a group, and the user also belongs to another group that includes the client, they will still be able to access the client's information. To ensure users can no longer access particular clients, review existing data access groups and remove the users from those groups, as needed.

Procedure

  1. Sign in with your security administrator credentials.
    Your home page opens.
  2. Click Data Access > Data Access Groups.
