IBM® VM Recovery Manager HA for Power Systems Version 1.7.0.1 is the Service Pack 1 (SP1) update to the IBM VM Recovery Manager HA for Power Systems for Power Systems Version 1.7.
New functions for VM Recovery Manager HA for Power Systems Version 1.7.0.1
VM Recovery Manager HA Version 1.7.0.1 has the following new functions and updates:
- The VM Recovery Manager HA supports SAP NetWeaver VM agent.
- Fibre Channel (FC) mapping during the Live Partition Movement (LPM) operation and restart operation.
- More than two nodes support for KSYS high availability.
- Snapshot restore feature for multi-node KSYS setup.
- Improvements in application dependency.
New functions for the GUI
VM Recovery Manager HA GUI has the following enhancements:- Create Shared Processor Pool.
- Custom consistency group (CG) name support.
- Modify system tunable attributes.
- The GUI displays the details of events when hovering over the critical count.

Installation and migration

- The man pages for the VM Recovery Manager HA commands related to ksysmgr are provided in the ksys.main.msg.en_US.cmds fileset, the commands related to the ksysvmmgr are provided in the ksys.vmmon.rte file.
