Modifying system tunable attributes

You can view and update system tunable attributes in the policy tab. You can update the following tunable attributes: deep discovery, HMC Ping Timer, Connection Timeout, Optimize Put Storage, SA Ping Timer, Min Redundancy Path, Cleanup Files Interval, HMC port number, Vpmem override and Ksys spooling .

To update the system tunable attributes, complete the following steps:

  1. In the navigation pane of the VM Recovery Manager HA GUI, click the host group for which you want to modify the attributes.
  2. Select an environment.
  3. Click the Policies tab. The screen displays system tunable attributes.
