Shared processor pool

For a DR type of cluster, you can add, delete, modify the shared processor pool. For a HA type of cluster, you can enable or disable the pool map.

Shared processor pool in DR cluster

  1. For DR type of cluster, search and select a virtual machine from the navigation pane.
  2. Click DR Environment.
  3. Click the Shared Processor Pool tab.

    • To add a shared processor pool, click Add New Shared Processor Pool. Then, fill the required information in the fields and click Save & Update.
    • To delete a shared processor pool, click Delete from the Action menu of the shared processor pool. Then, click Save & Update.
    • To modify a shared processor pool, modify the details in the selected processor pool. Then, click Save & Update.

Shared processor pool in HA cluster

For a HA type of cluster, you can enable or disable the pool map.

  1. For HA type of cluster, search and select a virtual machine from the navigation pane.
  2. Click HA Environment.
  3. Click the Shared Processor Pool tab.

  4. To disable or enable the shared processor pool, select the Disable or Enable option in the Poolmap list. Then, click Save & Update.
