You can verify whether the IBM® Verify Directory installation is successful by checking the system for IBM Verify Directory packages.

About this task

After the IBM Verify Directory installation, you must ensure that the packages are at the required level. You can query the version number of IBM Verify Directory packages.

Procedure

  1. Log in as the root user.
  2. Access a command prompt, and run the following command:
    Operating systemCommand to query the packages:
    AIX® 
    lslpp -l 'idsldap*'
    Linux™ 
    rpm -qa | grep -i idsldap

Results

The command lists IBM Verify Directory packages that are installed on the system.
