You can migrate directory data, solutions, or both that
you configured with an instance of a previous supported version to
use with a 11.0.1 instance.
- Migration of directory server solutions that are based on IBM® Verify Directory Integrator
- To use solutions that are configured with a previous version of
instance with a 11.0.1 instance, you must migrate these solutions.
- The following solutions are supported:
- Log management tool
- Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)

- For the solution to function, your computer must contain IBM Verify Directory Integrator, Version 10.0 or later. For more information
about the installation and administration of IBM Verify Directory Integrator, see the product
documentation under the Installing and Administering section at Directory Integrator
Documentation.
- If IBM Verify Directory Integrator installation path in
different from the default installation path, set the IDS_LDAP_TDI_HOME variable
with the IBM Verify Directory Integrator installation location.
The following installation paths are the default for IBM Verify Directory Integrator on various operating
systems:
- AIX® and Linux™
- /opt/IBM/TDI/version
- Windows™
- C:\Program Files\IBM\TDI\version
