About this release

IBM Vault Self-Managed for Z and LinuxONE version 2.0.0 provides HashiCorp Vault Enterprise capabilities on IBM mainframe platforms. This release is based on HashiCorp Vault Enterprise 2.0.0 and includes validation for s390x architecture and IBM Z-specific integrations.

IBM Z and LinuxONE platform support

This release has been validated for the following IBM platforms and configurations:

• Architecture: IBM s390x (IBM Z and LinuxONE).
• Deployment platforms:
  • IBM z/OS Container Extensions (zCX).
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform on IBM Z.
  • Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform on IBM LinuxONE.
• Validated integrations:
  • IBM RACF LDAP credentials management.
  • SSH certificate authentication for z/OS Unix System Services.
  • Vault Secrets Operator for OpenShift.
  • IBM Crypto Express (CEX) hardware security module integration.
