After deploying HashiCorp Vault on IBM Z and LinuxONE platforms, you can configure integrations with enterprise systems and enable specialized secret management capabilities. Vault provides native integration with IBM mainframe technologies including RACF LDAP for automated credential rotation, IBM Crypto Express (CEX) hardware security modules for enhanced key protection, and SSH certificate-based authentication for z/OS Unix System Services. The Vault Secrets Operator enables seamless integration with OpenShift Container Platform, allowing Kubernetes applications to consume Vault secrets through native Kubernetes secret objects.
