Team- and role-based security

By using IBM® UrbanCode™ Release's role- and team-based security system, you can model releases that mimic your internal organization.

You can control exactly who can perform actions and access data in IBM UrbanCode Release. You create roles and teams that represent your current development organization. You assign user functions and actions, such as editing release plans or scheduling deployments, to the roles. For instance, a quality manager might be able to indicate that applications passed quality tests and developer would not. Teams represent collections of users that are grouped around a shared business activity, like supporting a particular software initiative. Teams have access to particular resources, such as releases and applications. You assign members of teams to certain roles to ensure that the correct users can access resources and perform actions.
