Formatting SQL statements

You can format one or all the SQL statements to improve their readability.

Before you begin

To enable the SQL formatting option, provide a valid value in the Workload Manager environment field in the Configuration section of the Subsystem page. Refer to Configuring WLM for Db2® Administration Foundation.

Procedure

To format SQL statements, complete the following steps:

From the navigation menu, click Run > SQL.
The SQL page opens.
Select a subsystem from the Connection drop-down list.
To format SQL statements, on the New statements tab, type or paste the query into the editor.
Click to format the SQL statement.
