Manual editing

Manually editing data in Txture is done in the Edit Asset view. The view can be called up in different ways:

  • A double-click on a specific asset in the Repository or any Report reveals the Asset Detail Sidebar on the right. A click on the Edit button opens the Edit Asset view for the selected asset.
  • In different areas of the software you will find a button highlighted with a symbol. The Edit Asset view can also be opened by clicking on this button.

The donut menu on the top right corner has some more functions available.

  • Open in Transformation Cockpit: This option will open the asset in the transformation cockpit.

  • Open in new page: Opens the asset editing view in a new page. This can be useful to continue working on an asset or share the page with other users.

  • Delete: Delete the asset from your repository.

Both the Edit Asset view and the related Asset Detail Sidebar are composed of the five menu tabs:

  • The Properties and the Links tab show existing values and allow manually editing them.
  • The Timeline tab shows all changes to the asset, the properties or the links of the selected assets. Assets and their properties can be reset to a previous state here.
  • The Comments are a simple yet practical way to communicate with your collaborators. You can mention other users in the comments.
  • The Tenants tab allows you to assign the asset to existing tenants. This feature is only available for admin users.
