To solve problems with your CICS® system,
you usually start with a symptom, or set of symptoms, and trace them
back to their cause. This User Goal describes tools and techniques
you can use to find the cause of a problem and suggests actions for
solving the problem.
Sometimes you cannot solve the problem
yourself if, for example, it is caused by a limitation in the hardware
or software that you are using. If the cause of the problem is CICS code,
you need to contact your support organization, as described in Working with your support organization.
