Investigate an event

When the conditions of a situation have been met, an event indicator is displayed in the Navigator. When an event occurs, you want to obtain information about that event so you can correct the conditions and keep your enterprise running smoothly.

The following table contains a list of the procedures for investigating an event and a cross-reference to where you can find information about each procedure.

Review available advice.
Notify other users that you have taken ownership of the problem related to an event and are working on it. IBM Tivoli Monitoring User’s Guide:
