Complete this task to configure RSYSLOG settings.

Procedure

  1. From System Console GUI, select Console Settings > RSYSLOG Settings. You see the screen as shown in the figure below.

  2. To sync with the syslog server:
    1. In the RSYSLOG Server Settings area, select the log files that you want to send or synchronize to the server.
    2. In the Port field, enter the port number of the server.
    3. In the Server Hostnames field, enter the hostname or IP address of the syslog server.
    4. Then, select Update RSYSLOG Settings.
