Note: IBM service typically performs this operation and it is recommended that you do not make any changes.

To find and download system and microcode updates, do the following:

Procedure

  1. From System Console GUI, select Fix Acquisition > Available Updates. You see the screen as shown in the figure below.

  2. To download updates for TS4500, TS7700 and TSSC, select the desired content from the Fix Acquisition Function drop-down box.
  3. For Example: To download available TSSC codes, select Download TSSC code from the down-down box and click Get Available TSSC Code Levels.

  4. Place a check in the box next to each update you want to download. When the download selections are made, click Download to continue. If you want to exit without downloading any updates, click Cancel. Download all other updates in a similar manner.
