Installing and configuring Tivoli Storage Manager components on the primary and secondary nodes
You must install the Tivoli® Storage Manager server and database components on the primary and secondary nodes in the cluster. Then, configure the primary node first followed by the secondary node.

After you check and verify the prerequisites, you must install the required components on the primary and secondary nodes on the system. - Configuring the primary node
To set up the two-node topology, configure the Tivoli Storage Manager components on both nodes. First, you must configure the Tivoli Storage Manager instance on the primary node. - Configuring the secondary node
After you configure the primary node, you must configure the secondary node so that Tivoli System Automation can move the Tivoli Storage Manager server components to the secondary node if the server fails on the primary node.
