Control processing with exclude statements

After Tivoli® Storage Manager evaluates all exclude statements, the following options are evaluated against the remaining list of objects available for processing.

Table 1 lists the options that you can use to control processing with include and exclude statements.

Table 1. Options for controlling processing using include and exclude statements

AIX operating systemsOracle Solaris operating systemsexclude.fs.nas AIX operating systemsOracle Solaris operating systemsExcludes file systems on the NAS file server from an image backup when used with the backup nas command. If you do not specify a NAS node name, the file system identified applies to all NAS file servers. The backup nas command ignores all other exclude statements including exclude.fs and exclude.dir statements. This option is for AIX® and Solaris clients only.
