Ensure that the user ID for the Tivoli Storage Manager instance has write permission to all database directories. No matter which user ID is running the dsmserv process, the database files are written by the database manager. The permissions on these database directories must allow write access from the database manager user ID. Change the ownership of the database directories to the user ID for the Tivoli Storage Manager instance.
