Installing the Command Line Interface on Linux systems

On Linux® systems, to install the TSLM CLI, change to the directory linux_ibm_64 on the installation media or the installation file system, and use the following command:

rpm -iv tslm-cli-v.r.m-nn.x86_64.rpm
rpm -iv tslm-system-v.r.m-nn.x86_64.rpm (if not already installed)

The version, release, and modification levels are indicated by v.r.m and nn depends on the software distribution level.

To verify the installation, use the following command:

rpm -qa |grep tslm

The output shows the TSLM components installed. Verify that the following components are shown:

tslm-cli-v.r.m-nn
tslm-system-v.r.m-nn

The CLI can be run from anywhere in the system since the search path is automatically set for user ermm.
