Calculation example
Drive utilization value = DU
System drives weighting value = SD
Available drives weight factor = ADF
Usable drives weight factor = UDF
Library weight factor = LF
Round robin value = RR
Priority calculation value = PC
Cartridge Group Priority = CGP
PC = (DU*ADF*LF) + (SD*UDF) + RR
PC will be calculated for each cartridge type in a library represented by
a cartridge group.
CGP = PC normalized to a value between 1 to 1000 and grouped by
cartridge type.
A value of 1 indicates the highest priority.
The PC values of the same type of all libraries are normalized.
Example for one type:
Lib 1 PC=100000, Lib 2 PC=200000, Lib 3 PC=400000
The normalized result is:
Lib 1 CGP=900, Lib 2 CGP=800, Lib 3 CGP=600
So Lib3 will be used for the next allocation ( scratch mount )
