Data model mapping

System Automation Application Manager integrates with the Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM) through the Discovery Library Adapter (DLA) to discover system resources. This information is output as XML files, referred to as Books, which conform to the Discovery Library IdML XML schema and Common Data Model (CDM). The Books can be loaded by various products, including Change and Configuration Management Database (CCMDB) and Business Service Manager (TBSM) products.

The relationships between System Automation Application Manager concepts and the Common Data Model are listed in Table 1.
