Cluster Actions menu

Use the Actions menu to change a cluster state or settings. When attached to a library, use this menu to change copy export settings.

Modify Cluster Identification: Select this option to change values for a cluster Name or Description.; Refer to Modify Cluster Identification for additional information.
Cluster States: Select this option to put the cluster in to a different state. Multiple options can be shown, depending on the current state of the cluster.; Refer to Cluster States for additional information.
Vary devices online: Select this option to vary devices online for the selected cluster after a service or unhealthy cluster outage where CUIR vary offline is initiated and LI REQ AONLINE is currently disabled.
Note: A blue informational icon is shown on the lower left corner of the cluster image if the cluster's devices need to be varied online.; Refer to Vary devices online for additional information.
Copy Export Settings: If the cluster is attached to a tape library, you can select this option to set the maximum number of volumes that can be exported.
Regenerate key: Select Regenerate key from the Actions > Encryption menu path to regenerate the disk cache key. After completion, the procedure displays a confirmation dialog with a time stamp of the last time that the key was generated. If the function fails, contact your IBM service representative.

Note: This option is only available when external disk encryption is enabled.
