HYDIN0025I (OP0025)Excessive device/accessor mount recovery.
Operator response
Contact your IBM service representative.
A successful mount recovery is when the accessor must follow an unsuccessful mount with a
cartridge tap (CAT) to properly position the tape cartridge in the drive.
The mount recovery errors are expressed as a percentage of CATs to mounts. For example, 50
percent would mean that half the mounts required a following CAT operation to complete the
mount.
Excessive device or accessor mount recovery can be due to (but not limited to) a failing drive,
incorrect Teach coordinates, accessor component failure, movement of library components, or a
combination of the above.
