Use the Update system page to view and manage Management Interface code levels on the system.

About this task

Procedure

  1. In the Management Interface, click on the Service icon and select Update System from the menu.
  2. The Update system page shows the current microcode and management interface levels for all the clusters in your system. Next, click the View and Install Updates button.

  3. The View and Install updates window shows the cluster name along with their current code level. Click the down arrow next to a cluster to see the available installs for that cluster.
  4. In this example, the down arrow for BO (Cluster 1) was selected and it shows that there is a back level (which means the current MI level will be uninstall and will return to previous level) and a new MI level install is available.
  5. In this example, the down arrow for Buck (Cluster 2) was selected and it shows that Cluster 2 has two possible MI updates (MI 1 and MI 2).

    Each install package name consists of two parts. In this example, the first part of the install package name “8.50.1.19” shows the microcode level. The second part of the name “MI 1" or “MI 2” shows the MI update version number.
