This section provides instructions for printing selected Information Center topics and locating other publications related to the IBM® TS7700, its components, and attached systems.

Complete these steps to print one or more Information Center topics.
Notes:
  1. The machine displaying the Information Center must be connected to a printer, or must have PDF print software installed to print Information Center topics.
  2. Output can vary depending on whether you are using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer as your browser.
  3. These steps have been tested using Mozilla Firefox 5.0 and Internet Explorer 8. This printing process might not work with earlier browser versions.
  1. In the left navigation pane, select the topic that you want to print.
  2. Click the Printer icon to open a print options drop-down menu. Select from one of the following options:
    • Print selected topic to print just the active topic.
    • Print selected topic and all subtopics to print the active topic and all of its subtopics.
  3. A new browser window opens asking if you want page breaks between topics. Click Yes or No depending on your preference.
    Note: A "Transferring data..." message displays at the bottom of the new browser window while the content is compiled into one HTML file. This takes from a few seconds to many minutes depending on the size of the topic or section that is being printed.
  4. When the content is ready to print, a Print window displays. Select Adobe PDF or any attached printer from the printer menu and click OK or Print.
    Attention: Output inconsistencies have been noted when printing an Adobe PDF from Firefox. For this reason it is recommended to print directly to your printer, not to a PDF, when using Firefox as your browser.
