Confirm delete data class

Use this page to delete a data class construct used in the IBM® TS7700 Grid.

Note: The user interface of the Data Classes table within the page changes when all clusters in the GRID operate at microcode level 8.54.0.x or later.
To delete a data class:
  1. From the Data Classes page, go to the Data Classes table.
  2. Click the Actions tab at the top of the Data Classes table, and select Delete from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Yes to delete a data class, or Cancel to abandon the delete operation.
Note: However, to delete a Data Class when the clusters in the GRID operate at microcode levels prior to 8.54.0.x you must do the following:
  1. From the Data Classes page, go to the Data Classes table.
  2. Select the radio button next to the data class that you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete from the Select Action menu.
  4. Click Go to open the Confirm Delete Data Class page.

Click YesOK to delete the data class and return to the Data Classes page, or click NoCancel to abandon the delete operation and return to the Data Classes page.
