Use the main view of the Cluster Summary page
to identify cluster health, details, hardware components, and cache
allocation.
The health of the system is checked and updated automatically at times
that are determined by the TS7700. Data
on the page is not real time. To populate the summary with updated
health status, click the Refresh icon. This
operation can take some time. If Write Protect Mode is enabled on
the cluster, a lock icon is shown on the cluster image.
- Cluster badge details
- A cluster that is shown in the main view of the Cluster
Summary page is identified by a badge above its image.
This badge shows the cluster name, sequence ID, any family affiliation,
and throttling bars if throttling is in progress.
- Click this badge to display the cluster details that are shown in Table 1.

Cluster identifier |
The cluster name followed by the cluster number
and distributed library sequence number. |
Accessing Cluster |
Whether the cluster displayed is the one that
was used to log in to the grid. If these words are absent in the details window,
then a user logged in to the grid from a different cluster. |
Health State |
The health of the cluster as a whole. Possible values include:
- Normal
- Warning or Degraded
- Impact
- Critical or Serious/Error
- Service
- Service Prep
- Unknown

The name of the family to which the cluster
is assigned. |
Model |
The cluster model number. Possible values include:

Microcode |
The microcode level the cluster operates. |
Name |
The cluster name. |
FIPS Compliant |
Whether Disk meet the Federal Information Processing Standard (140). |
Secure Data transfer |
Whether the Secure Data Transfer feature is enabled (FC
5281). |
DS8000 Object Store |
Whether the DS8000 Object Store Feature is enabled (FC
5282). |
Description |
The cluster description. |
Disk Encryption |
Whether disk encryption is in effect and if
so, whether a local or external key manager is in use. |

- One or more throttling bars display on the cluster badge if any
throttling activities occur. Hover over these bars to display any
throttling details.
