Cloud export recovery allows you to recover stored virtual volumes for restoration of data.

Cloud storage provides a cost efficient solution to storing data long-term or as a means to store another copy of data in the case of a disaster. In the event of a disaster, a recovery process is needed to access that data. Cloud Export Recovery provides the ability to quickly restore a TS7700 production environment in the case of a total loss of a TS7700 Grid.

Note: Cloud export recovery is only supported on VEC/VEDs in a grid that are at R5.1 code level.
