is bottom up on all drives. This information is shown on the Drives page of

The library assigns each tape drive a SCSI element address that consists of a value that defines
a logical location in the library to the SCSI interface. It is assigned and used by the application
when the host server processes SCSI commands. The SCSI element address for a drive is unique to the
location of the drive. It does not vary based on other drives in the library. See Library partitioning.
