Space standard specification
You can use the space standard specification to define your corporate space standards, such as those for Manager's Office, Staff Office, Manager Workstation, Staff Workstation, Small Conference Room, and Large Conference Room.
You can define entitlements for a space standard specification to define the roles for people who are entitled to view and request an item. For example, you might define a space standard specification for Manager Office and select the entitlement role of Manager. You also might define a space standard specification for Staff Office and select the entitlement role of Staff.
The space standard specification is similar to a space classification. A space classification typically is more generalized and a space standard classification is typically more specific and defines how the space is outfitted or furnished. It also defines other entitlements that are associated with the functional roles of people that are expected to occupy the space.
After you define your space standards, you can associate those standards to space records. A space record can be associated with one or more space standards. You use the space standard specification and entitlements to restrict the users who can view and select spaces when they complete processes such as space moves.
