Setting up inventory storage area
The inventory storage area is the bin, cabinet, or shelf where the inventory is kept. For example, you can have a storeroom with aisles, racks, shelves, and bins. You can create many levels of storage area in the inventory hierarchy.
Procedure
- Select .
- In the Hierarchy pane, click New and select Storage Area.
- On the General tab, enter the details of the storage areas.
- In the Details section, for the inventory location class, select Storage Area.
- Create and activate the record.
