Requests for information

While a project is in progress, subcontractors and project managers communicate with requests for information.

You can create, manage, and track request for information records on the Design page.

If you award a contract to a subcontractor for a certain part of the project, you send out the required design specifications, drawings, or any other required documents. If the subcontractor has questions about the design or anything else regarding the contract, a request for information record is sent to clarify issues or misconceptions about a project. Clarifications that are needed are added in this record, and then the record is sent back to subcontractor.
