You set up people information so that users can manage assets and other resources that those people use within organizations.

People overview
People are resources that are managed in relation to their space and asset allocations. People can include employees, consultants, and external contacts such as vendors and suppliers.
Creating people records
You create people records to track and manage employees, contractors, and external contacts such as vendors or suppliers. You specify information to help you manage day-to-day tasks and processes that are related to those people.
