Integration of inventory management with other applications
Inventory management is fully integrated with other TRIRIGA® Application Platform applications, such as task management, request management, reservation management, and procurement management.
The following applications are tightly integrated with inventory management:
- Task management
- Technicians can request and receive inventory as part of work tasks.
- Reservation management
- You can make inventory items available for use by reservation management, such as conference room equipment and vehicles.
- Request management
- Self-service users can create product requests by using the TRIRIGA Request Central portal.
- Procurement management
- The movement of items into inventory can be handled by using purchase requisitions. Inventory items can be associated with product records, which in turn can be referenced by a blanket purchase order or service agreement and be purchased from a vendor for a negotiated amount. Inventory specifications are integrated with purchase orders.
