ZFCRU ABORT-abort running CRUISE
Use this command to immediately end a capture or restore utility, information and statistics environment (CRUISE) function.
Requirements and restrictions
You can use the ZFCRU ABORT command only when a CRUISE function is processing existing parameter tables. This means the CRUISE function must be active, running, paused, or in a stopped state.
Format
Additional information
- You can enter the ZFCRU ABORT command one or two times, depending on how quickly you want the CRUISE function to stop. If the CRUISE function does not stop, you can enter the command more than twice.
- If you enter ZFCRU ABORT once, the CRUISE function processes all entry control blocks (ECBs) and then exits.
- If you enter ZFCRU ABORT twice, the CRUISE function immediately flushes all ECBs.
- If the CRUISE function is running with a BFA tape and it has been paused, stopped, or the TPF system was IPLed, a ZFCRU ABORT command does not dismount the tape. To dismount the BFA tape, you must issue the ZTOFF command.
